Two men pretended to be feeling ill and invaded the Municipal Hospital in the city of Brumado, in the Southwest of Bahia, to shoot a patient who was admitted to the health unit. Hospital employees, who were not identified, reported to the website that the two men arrived on a motorcycle with hidden weapons, looking for a patient who was shot in the unit. The target was located and shot at. The situation caused great panic at the scene and the companions of other patients were scared. Professionals from the unit locked themselves in several sectors for fear of the bandits’ actions.
The pair fled and have not yet been identified by police. The 24th Military Police Battalion reported that it was called and was carrying out patrols in search of the suspects.
