Public security employees in the Federal District have until next Tuesday (30) to register for selection for the Integrated Public Security Senior Management Course (Cagisp). The training is part of the Competence Development Incentive Program for public security professionals, with classes starting in May and expected to end in August 2025. In total, 30 places will be available. Classes will be held at the Ulysses Guimarães Convention Center.

Civil Police (PCDF), Military Police (PMDF) or DF Military Fire Brigade (CBMDF) employees can register. Participation is also open to employees working at the Public Security Secretariat (SSP-DF), commissioned without a contract or seconded from other bodies. The necessary documentation must be sent through the Electronic Information System (SEI) – to compete, the server must complete this electronic form.
Ordinance
With the aim of continuously qualifying public security managers, an ordinance established Cagisp in February 2024. “With the regulation, the course will now be offered on a regular basis, which will enable a more effective contribution by civil servants to policies of public security. Furthermore, it is another opportunity to value them and promote even greater integration”, highlights the head of SSP-DF, Sandro Avelar.
The institutionalization of the course is part of axis 5 of the DF Mais Seguro – Integral Security program, called Servidor Mais Seguro. One of the objectives of the axis is to enhance the careers of public security bodies.
Training contributes to the training of institutional managers. “The pedagogical project focuses on preparing future public security leaders in the DF”, reinforces the executive secretary of Integrated Management, Bilmar Angelis.
