The Pernambuco government published, this Saturday (27), the notice for the Scientific Police public competition, with 213 vacancies for the positions of forensic medicine agent, coroner and criminal expert. Salaries reach R$10,622.86. Registration begins on Tuesday (30) and can be done until June 3.
To register, you must pay the fee of R$250 for the position of forensic medicine agent and R$300 for the coroner and criminal expert. Candidates who wish to request an exemption from the registration fee can request it until May 6th.

The objective and discursive tests will be administered on July 21st. The result of the objective test will be released on August 26th, while the discursive test will be presented on September 6th. On October 4th, successful candidates will be called to take the medical exams.
To participate in the competition, candidates who wish to pursue one of the three careers must meet certain requirements, which are:
- Have no criminal record and have “civil conduct compatible with the position”;
- Have a higher education degree in the field corresponding to the position;
- Have a National Driving License (CNH), at least category B;
- Be up to date with electoral and military obligations.
After the tests, candidates also undergo a medical assessment, physical fitness exams, psychological assessment and social investigation. At the end of the competition, successful candidates must also take a specific professional training course for each area.
