The next season of Projeto Amazônia Que eu Quero, from Fundação Rede Amazônica, brings something new this year: the presence of ambassadors in the states covered by Grupo Rede Amazônica. This Friday (26) the Ambassadors’ Café took place, where they were introduced to the project and understood how they can contribute and actively participate in the new season in 2024.

In Acre, businessmen Edson Cruz, Ricardo Leite, Owaldo Dias and Marcelo Dias, who work in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, real estate and dealership sectors, were installed as ambassadors.

The 2024 edition addresses the “Continental Amazon”, emphasizing pillars of the bioeconomy and sovereignty of the Amazon, themes that are correlated to the daily lives of all of us and to our businesses and/or institutions. The vast experience and influence in the region make these ambassadors essential allies in bringing solutions for the region’s development.

The Commercial Director of Ipê Empreendimentos Imobiliários, Ricardo Leite, said that the company has contributed to the development of the state for more than four decades. “I am very grateful to be invited to be an ambassador, to be able to actively contribute to the Amazônia Que eu Quero project, to develop the Amazon within a vision of entrepreneurship, to bring a vision that the Amazon belongs to Brazilians”, he said .

Businessman Edson Cruz, from the J-Cruz Group, states that the Group has adopted sustainable practices over the years. “We [do Grupo J. Cruz] There is always this engagement footprint, we invest in clean energy, carbon credit projects and other projects that will be implemented this year in our company. We will engage to contribute, bring other partners,” he adds.

The commercial manager of Rede Amazônica in Acre, Fábio Farina, highlighted the importance of the role of ambassadors.

“The perspective is the best possible, we are calling on influential people from the region, businesspeople who already have this impact on the environment, sustainable development. And the idea is for them to promote the work they have been doing for other businesspeople. We need to understand that there is no development without preservation and there is no preservation without development, if we understand this we will advance further and further, we will create jobs, we will generate opportunities and that is what the Amazon needs”, he explains.

About the Amazônia Que Eu Quero project
