Police request preventive arrest of young man suspected of beating his own mother in Agreste de Alagoas

This Friday (26), the Civil Police (PC) reported that it concluded the investigation into a crime of domestic violence, allegedly committed by the son against his own mother, a 63-year-old woman, in Campo Alegre. The woman suffered serious injuries with trauma to the skull and face.

The case was registered on the 19th of this month, at the elderly woman’s residence, when the attacker punched the woman several times in the face.

“The attacker was taken by the municipal guard to the Regional Police Station of São Miguel dos Campos, where he was charged in the act and remains in prison. Regional police officer Bruno Emílio represented the suspect’s preventive detention and sent him to the Maceió prison system, where he will remain at the disposal of the court of law of the Court of the Único Ofício de Campo Alegre”, informed the PC.

The police investigation was concluded and sent to the Judiciary this Friday (26) with a request to maintain the attacker’s preventive detention, while the victim was admitted to the Arapiraca Emergency Hospital, given the severity of the injuries.

The case is being investigated by the Police Station of the 75th Police District (75th DP) of Campo Alegre.
