The fetish known as “cuckold” continues to be in evidence in Brazil, especially after recent revelations about public figures’ relationships.
A survey published by the website Sexlog revealed that Minas Gerais stands out as the state with 10% of the more than 300 thousand “assumed cuckolds” in the country, totaling around 30 thousand individuals. These “horns” will soon have the opportunity to celebrate Horn Day, a date scheduled for next Thursday (25/4).
The research was based on the registry of “cuckolds”, a term used to describe men who feel horny seeing or knowing that their partner (hotwife) has sexual relations with other men. The website, self-proclaimed the largest sex and swing site in Latin America, has seen a significant increase in memberships in recent times, with 60,000 new users joining the platform in the last year alone.
“Cuckolds” have different levels of involvement in their partners’ sexual relations, being able to actively participate in the act, just observe or even enjoy reports of their wives’ experiences. According to Mayumi Sato, marketing director at Sexlog, the fetish is also in the exchange and sharing of experiences between the couple.
The research revealed that most “cuckolds” do not show jealousy regarding their wives’ activities. Around 62% of those interviewed said they had never felt jealous, while 21% had experienced this feeling on one occasion and 17% more than once. Regarding continuous contact between wives and extramarital partners, 47% of those interviewed do not mind, while 33% condition the situation to specific cases and 20% prefer that all contact occurs only during intimate relationships.
The geographic distribution of “assumed horns” in Brazil reveals a significant concentration in the Southeast and Northeast regions. In Minas Gerais, specifically, the cities of Belo Horizonte and Uberlândia are among those with the highest incidence of the fetish. São Paulo leads as the state with the most “assumed cuckolds”, followed by Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Campinas and Uberlândia.
The research also addressed the role of wives in this context, showing that, in 67% of cases, they are the ones who choose partners to cheat on their husbands, often with the collaboration of their husbands themselves. However, 18% of women said they decided alone, while 14% revealed that their partners made the decision.
