A UNEB will participate in the Bahia 2024 Book Biennialbetween April 26th and May 1st, at the Convention Center, in the Boca do Rio neighborhood, in Salvador.
This edition of the event will feature a stand from Editora da UNEB (EdUNEB), bringing an extensive program that includes book launches, conversation circles and special tables, with the participation of students, technicians, professors and university managers.
Among the highlights of the program is the table with deans “University and Reader Training: stories we need to tell”, which will take place on April 27th, at 10 am, at the Bahia Government Space. The activity will be attended by the rectors of the State Universities of Bahia (UEBA): Adriana Marmori (UNEB), Amali Mussi (Uefs), Alessandro de Santana (Uesc), and Luís Otávio de Magalhães (Uesb).
Still on the 27th, conversation circles will take place “Anti-Racist Education“, at 11am, and “The place of Scientific Research and Editorial Production at UNEB“, at 6:30 pm, both will be held at the Bahia Government Space.
The program also features several book launches and debates at the EdUNEB stand, located in Pavilion A, C19. Anyone visiting the space will also have the opportunity to purchase titles from the publisher’s catalog with up to 80% discount.
Tickets for the 2024 edition of the Bahia Book Biennial can now be purchased at event website. Tickets range from R$15 to R$30.
This edition of the Bahia Book Biennial is carried out by the Ministry of Culture, in partnership with the Government of Bahia, and supported by the Municipality of Salvador.
