Sixty-six bets from Pernambuco hit five tens of Mega-Sena contest 2720from last Saturday (4), and won a prize of at least R$ 1,878.49each.
The numbers drawn were 08, 15, 16, 23, 42 and 43. Throughout Brazil, 2,967 bets matched five Mega-Sena numbers, with an initial prize of R$1,878.49. Another 6,884 people marked four, and took R$809.63 each.
A curious fact is that, of the six dozens awarded, five of them appear in the 18th episode of the first season of the series “Lost”. In the plot, the character Hugo Hurley, played by actor Jorge Garcia, becomes a millionaire by playing the sequence 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42. After receiving the prize, he becomes unlucky.

In last Saturday’s draw, according to the Caixa’s official websitein Pernambuco, of the 66 bets included on the corner, 22 of them were held in Recifethe city with the largest number of winners in the State.
Following the luckiest municipalities in the corner are Olinda and Jaboatão dos Guararapes, in the Metropolitan Region, which awarded eight and five people, respectively.
Of the 66 bets, 65 made simple games, with six numbers, earning each bettor the amount of R$ 1,878.49. A lucky guy from Recife risked seven dozen and won R$ 3,756.98.
The main prize of R$28 million has been accumulated and should reach R$37 million in the next draw, which will take place this Tuesday (7), at 8pm, at Espaço da Sorte, in São Paulo. The minimum bet, with six numbers, costs R$5.
