Maragogi hosts the 1st Meeting of Vintage Cars in the north of Alagoas

Entrepreneurs Rodrigo Lyra, from Guiamar car rental company, and Tininho, from Top Brasil, are promoting the 1st Vintage Car Meeting, this Friday and Saturday, the 26th and 27th, respectively, at Praça de Eventos, in Maragogi. Registration includes 2kg of non-perishable food and a fee of 30 reais to purchase the shirt.

“This event promises to boost the city’s economy, as the participants are people who are passionate about old cars, who always come to promote their rarities, and take the opportunity to spend the weekend in Maragogi”, says Rodrigo Lyra. “We also expect the participation of several old Vehicle Clubs from Sergipe, Pernambuco and Alagoas.”

During the vehicle exhibition, there will be live music and prize draws. It’s a good opportunity for all types of audiences, of all age groups, to see, up close, cars from the time when most were certainly not yet born.

The event is sponsored by some native businesspeople and has support from the city of Maragogi. “A range of 50 to 70 cars are expected to be on display, true relics, which in the past were called old cars, today we call them old cars”, explains Rodrigo.
