Around 100 leaders and technical agents from the Sebrae System from 20 states conclude this Thursday (25), in Guaxupé and Cape Verde (MG), the 2nd National Meeting of Entrepreneurial Territories that takes place in the central-west and southwest regions of Minas. From Monday (22) until today, the group visited five cities in Minas Gerais, learning about different local development actions for small businesses. The idea is, back in their respective territories, to put into practice experiences they learned during visits and in contact with colleagues from different parts of Brazil.
Armed with this range of actions, each participant will share with other leaders in their territories those actions that apply to their business environments, according to the local strategies defined in each of the 70 Entrepreneurial Territories already installed, involving 737 municipalities. Throughout Brazil, there are already around 3 thousand leaders (businesspeople, representatives of business organizations and the third sector, religious leaders and all those who actively participate in the development of their regions) involved in this governance of management of the Entrepreneurial Territories.
In the Southwest Connection Territory, for example, the leaders involved in building the region’s work agenda understood that for the development of small business it is necessary to invest in improvements in regional infrastructure focused on coffee and cheese production, retail, tourism and gastronomy. . To get an idea of the importance of small business in this region, in the 19 municipalities of the Passos microregion alone (where part of the municipalities bathed by Lake Furnas are located) there are more than 30 thousand small businesses, the vast majority focused on the service area. .
