The vice-governor of Paraná, Darci Piana (PSD)highlighted that the Paraná should receive more than R$290 billion of investments from the private sector and that more than 10 companies They are on the eve of signing a document that will guarantee financial contributions to the state.

Piana revealed the information to aRede Portal during an event that formalized the adhesion of the municipality of Carambei to the Unified Family, Craft and Small Agroindustrial Health Care System (Susaf-PR). “The governor will make this announcement. Paraná will become a construction site”, he highlighted. The vice-governor said he could not anticipate what the investments would be about, nor did he reveal the companies that should make the financial contribution to the state, but he emphasized that, in addition to the R$290 billion, “there is more to come”.

When emphasizing the investments that the state should announce soon, Darci Piana reported that not even the most optimistic forecasts for the Ratinho Júnior Government dazzled with such growth in the state “not even in our dreams had we imagined having achieved this”, he concluded.

INVESTMENTS IN PONTA GROSSA – The last major investment from the private sector that the State announced for Ponta grossa happened in December last year. It is the Japanese multinational food company Nissin Foods, which is building a factory in the municipality. Overall, the company must invest R$ 1 billion and generate 500 job vacancies.

The physical structure of the unit has not yet been built. Only earthmoving work has been carried out so far. The Nissin factory will be located at km 164 of the PR-151 highway, towards Ponta Grossa to Castro, with 413.2 thousand square meters and 68.2 thousand square meters of built area. Construction of the new factory is scheduled to begin in June this year, with completion expected in March 2026.

Still in relation to Nissin, the Ponta Grossa factory is part of the company’s strategic global growth plan. According to Nissin Foods management, the investment in the new plant is to keep up with the growing consumption of instant noodles in Brazil.
