One of the most popular and sought-after actors in Hollywood, Dwayne Johnson begins to bring his new role to life on the big screen. Last Sunday (5), through their social networks (see below or click here), ‘The Rock’ has started his MMA training, as he will have the challenge of playing Mark Kerrtwo-time champion of the UFC heavyweight tournament, in the film ‘The Smashing Machine’, the former fighter’s nickname.
The work in question, starring ‘The Rock’, will be produced by the renowned studio ‘A24’ and should portray Kerr’s rise and fall on a personal and professional level. In addition to the Hollywood star, the film will also feature Emily Blunt in the cast. The renowned actress will play the fighter’s wife. Brazilian Caio Machado, UFC athlete, will represent Pete Williams, who knocked out the legendary Mark Coleman. On record, Johnson focused on grappling, as Mark became known for his quality wrestling.
