ALAGOAS – PGE guarantees expropriation of land for duplication of highway on AL 115 Norte in a court decision this Thursday.

The State Attorney General’s Office obtained an important victory in court, with the approval of the expropriation of land for the duplication of the AL 115 North highway. With this decision, an additional 2 km of land will be used in the works, which represents a significant advance for the state’s infrastructure. The work in question is part of the Pró-Estrada program, of the Government of Alagoas, and is being carried out by the Department of Highways (DER).

The action filed by the Judicial Prosecutor’s Office, through the Assets and Real Estate subunit, was fundamental in making this expropriation possible. The coordinator of the Judicial Prosecutor’s Office, prosecutor Marialba Braga, highlighted the importance of this work, which directly impacts the lives of Alagoas. According to her, the expropriations carried out by PGE bring benefits to the population, whether in the construction of roads, schools or hospitals.

Marialba Braga highlighted that expropriation actions have a positive impact on mobility, the economy and assistance to the population. Working together with the State secretariats is essential to guarantee the development and well-being of Alagoas society. With this favorable court decision, the duplication of AL 115 Norte can move forward, bringing improvements to the region’s road infrastructure.
