Sindipetro Bahia began the Private Petroleum Sector Seminar program on Thursday morning (25) at the Hotel Sol Victoria Marina, in Salvador. The opening of the event was attended by the Coordinator of Sindipetro-Ba, Elizabete Sacramento, the Director of Communication at FUP, Patrícia de Jesus, and the Director of Sindipetro-Ba, Luiz Matos Júnior, who is also an employee of PetroRecôncavo, one of the largest companies in the private oil sector in the state. Focusing on training, the seminar brought together union leaders from Sindipetro-Ba and other states, as well as former leaders.

The Communications Director, Radiovaldo Costa, began the lectures with a provocation to the participants: “What does Bahia have in the Private Oil Sector?”. He then addressed the history of the topic and explained how Sindipetro-Ba became a representation of private sector workers, becoming a reference in the national oil union movement.

During the event, participants were invited to complete a survey to assess their knowledge of the industry. The expectation of Sindipetro-Ba’s management is that participants leave the seminar with a deeper understanding of the history and reality of the sector in Bahia.

The event will continue with its schedule until tomorrow, Friday (26) including lectures, debates and practical dynamics.
