The works on the BR-280 between Guaramirim and Jaraguá do Sul, a segment of responsibility of the State government, was one of the topics discussed by Secretary Jerry Comper (Infrastructure) at a meeting of the Transport Commission at the Legislative Assembly, on Thursday. The secretary made a presentation on the situation of state highways.

The works in the segment also include the Mannes viaduct, where there is a railway crossing, three footbridges and duplication of the Portal bridge. The package is worth R$63 million, with 50% execution so far. Another R$120 million had been invested in doubling the segment, completed in 2022 by the State government.
