Projects created by mayors are awarded by Sebrae/MS – Festas e Eventos TV

This Tuesday (23), the Sebrae/MS held the award ceremony for the Sebrae Prefeitura Empreendedora Award. On the occasion, the municipal administrations that won the state stage of the initiative were announced, which recognizes management practices and experiences with a view to improving the business environment, promoting entrepreneurship and territorial development.

In its 12th edition, the award had 40 projects registered and the participation of 31 municipalities in Mato Grosso do Sul – a record in the State. Projects were registered in up to 10 categories: Simplification and Promotion of Entrepreneurs, Entrepreneur Room, Government Procurement, Entrepreneurship at School, Productive Inclusion, Tourism and Territorial Identity, Sustainability and Environment, Rural Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurial City and Government Governance.

“Today, projects that believe in the development of municipalities through the inclusion of small businesses are being awarded. It is worth mentioning that, in addition to the award-winning cities, we can replicate these practices in other municipalities in the State, further improving development, job creation and quality of life for the entire population of Mato Grosso do Sul”, says the director- superintendent of Sebrae/MS, Claudio Mendonça.

With the presence of the Councilor of the Sebrae/MS and Secretary of State for Environment, Development, Science, Technology and Innovation (Semadesc), Jaime Verruck spoke about the importance of involving municipal managers in actions that highlight small businesses and the creation of favorable environments for local economic growth.

“Sebrae/MS’s focus is working with small businesses. The mayors who are being awarded tonight took actions aimed at the development of their municipalities and it is important to recognize them. We need to provide this economic dynamic between cities, allowing cities to grow constantly”, Jaime Verruck.
