From health to education: Deadline for joining the state program in MS ends Friday

The Government of Mato Grosso do Sul began sending an invitation to join the “MS Ativo Municipalismo” program to the 79 municipalities in the State. The ‘acceptance’ of the program, launched last Monday, the 20th, runs until Friday, the 26th, and its main objective is to strengthen government actions in the areas of Education, Infrastructure, Health and Social Assistance.

According to Governor Eduardo Riedel, MS Ativo Municipalismo marks a new phase in the municipalist management of the State Executive, emphasizing cooperation and mutual support between the state and city halls. “We are proposing a close collaboration to improve the public services offered to the population. This is a sophisticated model that is based on precise indicators to achieve the desired results”, explains Riedel.

Participating municipalities will have access to already established programs and specialized technical support, which will strengthen their capabilities and expand the impact of public policies. Among the highlighted initiatives are MS Alfabetiza, MS Matemática, Digital and Oral Health, and Cras Volante.

“This is a second stage of municipalism that we started, focused beyond infrastructure, covering health, education and social assistance in collaboration with municipalities,” said the governor. The program also includes a third future phase, which will involve a cooperation system with continuous monitoring of the results of this partnership.

The adhesion term is being sent by the State Government, which requests that mayors designate a professional as the focal point of the program by next Friday (26).
