Pernambuco receives launch of the Brasil Mais Produtivo program at Fiepe headquarters

Pernambuco received, this Wednesday (24), the launch of the program Most Productive Brazil. The publicity event took place at the headquarters of the Federation of Industries of the State of Pernambuco (Fiepe), in Santo Amaro – Central area of the city.

The project was announced nationally in November last year and aims to more than R$2 billion for productivity and digital transformation of Brazilian micro, small and medium-sized industrial companies.

Brazil More Productive is an action coordinated by Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services (MDIC) and has a partnership with the National Industrial Learning Service (Senai), Sebrae, the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES), the Studies and Projects Financier (Finep), the Brazilian Industrial Research and Innovation Company (Embrapii ) and the Brazilian Industrial Development Agency (ABDI).

The program’s resources aim to encourage the digital engagement of 200,000 industries across Brazil, with face-to-face service for 93,000 companies by 2027.

Camila Barretoregional director of Senai-PEhighlighted the benefits for micro and small industries in Pernambuco by joining the project.

“We will be able to enter and work in consultancies and training in search of increasing industry productivity or energy efficiency and, thirdly, digital transformation work. The industry that joins the program journey will have access to a lot of information and free training,” he stated.

According to the director, Senai expects to add 150 members of Brasil Mais Produtivo de Pernambuco in 2024. The idea is that this number will increase over the years.

Second Murilo Guerra, superintendent of Sebrae-PE, the institution’s activities take place in the areas of training and consultancy. “It is a methodology that Sebrae uses through ALI [Agente Local de Informação] and actively participates in companies during a period where it is possible to identify difficulties with layout, entrances or equipment”.

Hosting the launch of the program, Fiepe plays a fundamental role for production agents in the State. The president of the Federation, Ricardo Essinger, valued the Most Productive Brazil. “We are the Federation of Industries and it is clear that this program, aimed directly at industry, is of utmost importance. With a simple arrangement to improve the circuit within the factory, you can achieve greater productivity”

How the program works
The productivity platform, which serves as a gateway for companies to participate in the program, has already gone into operation. Here, companies have free access to diagnosis and management strategy, consultancy and professional development paths in lean manufacturing or energy efficiency.

Access for companies to register is via the website brasilmaisprodutivo.mdic.gov.br. After this first phase, the program has three other modalities.

Diagnosis and management improvement: 50 thousand micro and small industrial companies will receive 100% free innovation and management improvement actions with Sebrae’s ALI methodology.

Optimization of industrial processes: 30,000 micro and small industries and 3,000 medium-sized industries will receive specialized consultancy with a subsidy of 70% to 100% and, at the same time, free professional education advice to define professional development courses for company workers met, with SENAI methodologies in lean manufacturing and energy efficiency.

Digital transformation: 8.4 thousand micro, small and medium-sized industries will apply RD&I projects to develop new products and technologies that accelerate the adoption of 4.0 technologies. The projects will be developed by 360 new technological solution providers. This part will be subsidized by 70% by FINEP and BNDES.
