The inspector general, advisor Ivan Bonilha, represented the Court of Auditors of the State of Paran (TCE-PR) at the General Assembly of the Rui Barbosa Institute (IRB), held at the headquarters of the Court of Auditors of the Federal District (TC-DF) this Tuesday (April 23). Bonilha holds the position of vice-president of Institutional Relations of the studies and research body of Brazilian TCs. He chaired the IRB for the 2018-2021 four-year period.

On this occasion, the counselor highlighted the work being carried out by the IRB. He recalled that, since the entity was founded in 1973, it has been improving and playing an increasingly important role in improving the public accounts control system, through the 33 TCs that operate in the country.

The meeting was led by advisor Edilberto Pontes (TCE of Cear), current president of the IRB, who presented the entity’s 2022-2023 Management Report. The document presents, in a systematic way, the activities developed in the last binary.

Subsequently, the 2023 Accounts Rendering was presented and submitted to the Assembly for approval, being approved unanimously by those present and without any reservations. Representatives of the Audit Courts associated with the IRB also had the opportunity to deliberate on budgetary and administrative issues.

In closing, the president of the IRB thanked all members for their effective participation, reinforcing that the success of the IRB lies in the strength, partnership and cooperation of all TCs.
