The understanding also mentions that “the participation of the Public Power in mediation established by class bodies in public security careers is mandatory, under the terms of article 165 of the CPC, to express the interests of the category”.
On the first day of the strike, no police station opened for operation in Natal – not even those on duty. Even online police reports were affected, as there were no police officers to approve them.
