This Tuesday (23), the Federal Revenue opened consultations on the residual batch of Personal Income Tax (IRPF) refunds, for the month of April 2024. Bank credit worth more than R$457 million will be made available on April 30th for around 353.3 thousand taxpayers.
The majority of those included in this batch are taxpayers over 80 years old, followed by other priority groups such as people with disabilities or serious illnesses, teachers and even those who used the pre-filled declaration or authorized the refund via PIX. The amounts will be deposited in the bank account informed in the Income Tax Declaration.
The residual batch can be consulted by site of the Federal Revenue on the internet, where it is possible to make a simplified consultation. If the taxpayer has doubts about pending issues, it is also possible to carry out a complete consultation via e-CAC and find out if it is necessary to send a new rectification.
Taxpayers who have a problem with the reported account can contact Banco do Brasil, where the credit will be available for one year. After this period, it will be necessary to make a new payment request on the e-CAC Portal, through the “Declarations and Statements” menu, choosing the “My Income Tax” option.
