Portuguese journalist Sérgio Tavares was heard this Tuesday (23), during a hearing at the Public Security Commission of the Federal Senate.

Firm in his position, Tavares emphasized that Brazil is experiencing a ‘dictatorship’ as a result of the ‘censorship’ imposed by minister Alexandre de Moraes.

The journalist also argued that Brazilians ‘cannot say the obvious’ such as ‘that Lula is a thief’.

“Nikolas is being fined and prosecuted for stating the obvious. This is dictatorship.”

However, the defining moment of his testimony came when Tavares stated that there was fraud in Brazil’s 2022 elections.

Demonstrating enormous knowledge of the subject, he made numerous relevant considerations.
