Artistic Initiation Workshops: 2nd module attracts participants to Curro Velho and Casa da Linguagem

Last Monday, the 22nd, the second module of the artistic initiation workshops started, promoted by the Núcleo de Oficinas Curro Velho and Casa da Linguagem, both part of the structure of the Fundação Cultural do Estado do Pará (FCP). With a total of 765 places distributed across 50 courses, registrations for these activities reached the mark of 795 registrants, giving rise to a waiting list with excess registrants.

The courses will be held from April 22nd to May 13th, taking place both at Curro Velho, located on Rua Prof. Nelson Ribeiro, 287, Telégrafo, with contact via telephone numbers (91) 3251-2986/3251-2987, and at Casa da Linguagem, located at Av. Nazaré, 31, with contact numbers (91) 3251-2976/3251-2975.

The workshops, which cover a wide range of artistic areas, from visual to musical language, including scenic, photography, animation, digital art and production, promise to provide an enriching experience for participants. Highlights include courses such as “Urban Landscape Design”, “Theatrical Initiation”, “Group Guitar”, “Photography and Audiovisual Laboratory” and “2D Games Development”, among others.

For children, FCP offered the “Percussion for Children” workshop, while those interested in verbal language can choose “Interpretation and Text Production” and “Writing for the ENEM”.

Ana Luz, technician at FCP, emphasizes the diversity of offerings of this second module: “The directorate of cultural workshops and artistic initiation (DOCIA) at FCP, presents this second module with approximately 50 workshops distributed in various languages. We have visual, audiovisual , scenic and musical, in addition to the photography and animation laboratories in the production center, workshops also in the language house.”

The technique highlights the enthusiasm of the participants on the first day of the workshop: “On that first day, participation was excellent. Many students were getting to know the Curro Velho workshop space for the first time, others returning due to good involvement, right? And they are very excited, people today were very receptive.” She also highlights the interest in the workshops in the production center: “In the center, the workshops that most attracted people were the workshops for making bags with textile waste and the PCD rag doll workshops.”
