Acre ended February with the creation of 853 formal jobs. The data comes from the New Register of Employed and Unemployed Persons (Caged), from the Ministry of Labor and Employment.
With 827 vacancies, the services sector was the one that employed the most in the period, followed by commerce (35) and civil construction (35). The relative variation recorded reached 0.82%, the fourth highest in the Northern Region of the country.
According to the survey, Rio Branco, Senador Guiomard and Cruzeiro do Sul were the municipalities in Acre that hired the most workers. The average salary was R$1,662.19.
Acre ended 2023 with a positive balance in job creation and with the lowest unemployment rate in Brazil. During the period, 4,562 formal jobs were created. The services, commerce and civil construction segments were those that hired the most.
The State government has contributed positively to strengthening the local economy. In addition to carrying out important works, which require a lot of manpower, in recent years, more than 3,300 new employees have been called to work in the public service.
“Together, the public authorities and the private sector are creating the conditions for Acre to grow and develop more and more. One of our main priorities is the generation of jobs and income for our people. With a lot of work and determination, we will continue to move forward”, declared Governor Gladson Cameli.
