Actress Tiffany Haddish said she once wanted to “get” with actor Henry Cavill, but changed her mind after meeting him in person. The 44-year-old artist spoke about her romantic life in a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times.
She said that she came close to having a romance with the ex-Superman, but that she gave up after one meeting.
After revealing that she had used several dating apps for famous people, Haddish expressed her disappointment: “All the famous guys that I used to think, ‘Oh, I wanted to hook up’, now I meet them and I’m like, ‘No’”.
Then came the mention of Cavill: “I really wanted Henry Cavill. I think he’s very hot. But then I met him and he was so shy. Then I thought, ‘that would be weird, I should be here talking to him about [o RPG] Dungerons & Dragons, maybe he would be more comfortable.’”
Afterwards, she reflected on the possible cause of the actor’s shyness on the date: “Had he never had a black woman say, like, ‘What’s up? How is his bank account? Do you like pasta? I’ll cook for you.’” She concluded about the star by pondering: “But he’s still beautiful.”
Tiffany Haddish’s resume includes films such as ‘Haunted Mansion’ (2023), ‘Operação Supletivo’ (2018) and ‘Girls Trip’ (2017). She is an Emmy Award winner for her guest appearance on ‘Saturday Night Live’ in 2017.
As the great hero of the publisher DC Comics, Cavill worked on ‘Man of Steel’ (2013), ‘Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice’ (2016) and ‘Justice League’ (2017). He also has ‘Mission: Impossible – Fallout’ (2018) and the series ‘The Witcher’ on his CV. More recently he starred in ‘Argylle: The Superspy’ (2024).
