I want to express our repudiation of Mr. John Textor’s senseless statements. Unfortunately, the views expressed by him affect several institutions, and also São Paulo Futebol Clube, a 94-year-old institution that has always defended ethical and moral values. It can’t stay like this Julio Casares, in an official statement

São Paulo will take, and is taking, practical and objective measures with the STJD, the civil and criminal spheres. It is regrettable that important institutions in our football are affected by a thoughtless, irresponsible act, with no connotation to Botafogo. He owns a SAF, Botafogo as an institution has our respect, our admiration

If he claims that irregularities occurred, let him prove it, show documents. But don’t speak openly about reaching millions of fans, athletes, institutions, men who built important brands, as is the case with São Paulo Futebol Clube

Our indignation is such, and representing this nation of 22 million fans, I want to make it very clear that nothing will remain hidden. São Paulo wants clarification. He will have the opportunity to clarify what he said, he said. If these are subjective issues, let him recant. If they are objective questions, he must demonstrate the veracity of what he said

We are here to defend athletes, employees, managers and the fans of São Paulo Futebol Clube.

An institution of respect. Therefore, to conclude, I want to say to John Textor that, if he didn’t know the institution São Paulo Futebol Clube, now he will begin to understand what it means to be São Paulo Futebol Clube in the Brazilian football scene
