In the third phase of the Copa do Brasil and eliminated in the quarterfinals of the return of the 2024 Amazonense Championship, Amazonas is in Pot B of the national competition. Therefore, the Amazon team can face, exclusively, teams from Pot A, in a draw to be held at the headquarters of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), in Rio de Janeiro.
It is worth remembering that the event does not have a scheduled date yet. Until here. in the Copa do Brasil, the Jaguar has already eliminated Independente-AP and Maringá-PR.
At this stage, 12 teams will be added to the competition. The Brazilian Libertadores teams (Atlético, Palmeiras, Flamengo, Grêmio, São Paulo, Fluminense, Botafogo and Bragantino), in addition to the champion of the Copa Verde (Goiás), Series B of the Brazilian Championship (Vitória-BA), the Copa do Nordeste (Ceará) and the best placed in the last Brasileirão, but which did not go to the Libertadores (Athletico-PR).

- Pot B: Goiás, Vasco, Juventude, Sport, CRB, Vitória, Criciúma, Sampaio Correia, Operário-PR, Botafogo-SP, Brusque, Ypiranga, América-RN, Amazonas, Águia de Marabá-PA and Sousa-PB.

In 2024, the prize pool for the Copa do Brasil is bigger than all the others. This season, the competition will award R$70 million to the champion. See the value distributed in each phase:
- Third phase: R$2.1 million;
- Round of 16: R$3.3 million;
- Quarter-finals: R$4.3 million;
- Semifinals: R$9 million;
- Runner-up: R$30 million;
- Champion: R$70 million.
And the scheduled dates according to the CBF:
- Third phase: May 1st or 22nd;
- Round of 16: July 31st or August 7th;
- Quarterfinals: August 28th or September 12th;
- Semifinals: October 2nd or 17th;
- Final: 3rd or 10th November.
