Banco do Brasil (BBAS3) Guide recommendations aimed at dividends and “strong distribution capacity”

In updating its dividend portfolio, Guide experts maintained the shares of Bank of Brazil (BBAS3) in the recommended portfolio for April.

The weight of shares of Banco do Brasilas well as all the assets of the dividend portfoliois 12.5%.

About the company, Guide highlights its 20% market share in the resource management market, in addition to 53% in agribusiness credit.

“The company has a strong distribution capacity, with around 3900 branches, 1800 service points and 800 digital and specialized agencies, being present in 96.6% of the country’s municipalities, in addition to being present in digital channels, with around 21.9 million active customers”, says Guide.

“Another advantage is the strong presence in the agribusiness market, with a portfolio of R$ 225 billion, totaling a market share of 53.7% in the segment”, adds the house about the BBAS3.

The only change in the portfolio was TIM (TIMS3), which left and made way for Alupar, justified by a rally in shares.

“TIM shares have appreciated by around 50% since the lows of 2023 and currently have little upside potential in our view. We are including Alupar due to the potential for high dividends in the coming years and also due to better appreciation prospects.”

The actions of Bank of Brazil they fall 3% in the last 30 days, being traded at around R$56 currently. Since the beginning of the year, shares have increased by 2%, however.
