State deputy Claudia Lelis (PV) participated on the night of this Thursday, 28th, in Paranã, in the district of Campo Alegre, in the ceremony that formalized the stateization of the local road that connects Paranã to the border with the state of Goiás, in the stretch of TO-387. Law No. 4,389/2024 was sanctioned by governor Wanderlei Barbosa (Republicans) during a ceremony, which brought together authorities and the population of the region.

Representative Claudia Lelis highlighted the importance of this moment for the entire southeast region and especially for the region’s tourism development. “Today we take an important step towards the tourist and economic development of this region, as this state highway is extremely important for improving access to tourist attractions, as well as access for residents and the flow of production”, stated Claudia.

The deputy made a point of highlighting her fight for the stateization of the highway. “This is a historic struggle for the population of this region, and one that involved the participation of many others who know that better access to attractions, with paved roads, helps to attract tourists, improves the flow of production and brings safety to drivers. It is certainly a great advance for the entire southeast region and I have no doubt a divider in the way we work with tourism today”, reinforced Lelis.

Paranã citizen title

During the ceremony, deputy Claudia also received the title of citizen of Paranã granted by the City Council, at the request of councilor Conrado. “This honor fills me with pride and emotion and represents a lot to me, and I would like to thank councilman Conrado for granting me this honor. Rest assured that I will fight even harder for improvements in Paranã and the region”, thanked Lelis.

The Pevista deputy, who has a strong presence in the area of ​​tourism and culture, recalled that since she got to know the southeast region, she has fought for improvements and benefits. “Many years ago I was enchanted by the friendliness of the population and the beauty and I have been fighting hard to bring improvements to everyone. I believe and work to make the southeast region the largest tourist corridor in Brazil and today we took a big step”, stated Claudia.
