Trucks overturn on two highways in the North of Minas


Two trucks overturned on highways in the North of Minas on Saturday (30). According to the Fire Department, the accidents occurred on BR-365, in Montes Claros, and on BR-251, in Francisco Sá.

In Montes Claros, the collapse occurred around 3 pm, at km 4 of BR-365. The driver was injured and was rescued by Samu. According to the military, the truck was loaded with iron plates, apparently for use in the automobile industry, and the load was under the responsibility of a team that presented itself to the PRF as a representative of the insurance company.

To detach the vehicle, firefighters disconnected the battery cables, in order to eliminate the risk of fire. Both directions of the road were closed, but were reopened after the truck was removed.

Another collapse was at km 456 to BR-251 (Fire Department/Disclosure)

At km 458 of BR-251, in Francisco Sá, the driver was injured after the truck overturned and partially blocked the road. The driver was attended to by Samu.

The trailer was loaded with various materials, most of them packaging and utilities. There was a large oil spill on the track and sawdust was used to avoid further accidents.

The road was reopened in both directions after the vehicle was removed.
