The director of Procon in Santa Catarina, Roberto Salum, is expected to be dismissed from his position this Friday (29). The measure is being articulated after the Civil Police confirmed the opening of an investigation to investigate a complaint of a crime of sexual harassment.

The topic was published on Thursday night (28), in the Bom Dia Column. The complaint fell like a “bomb” through the corridors of the Administrative Center of the Government of Santa Catarina as Roberto Salum is a recommendation from Jorginho Mello (PL ).
Due to the seriousness of the allegations against Salum, the Executive leadership ignored the holiday to study the director’s removal since, at that moment, it was a police case.
Governor Jorginho Mello met throughout the morning to take advantage of all available information where, this Friday, he will comment on the case and what measures he should adopt. The expectation is for the director to be dismissed.
Coluna Bom Dia contacted Roberto Salum on Thursday night and throughout Friday morning. The only feedback given was from “Monday at the lawyer’s office. I will review the time later.” The space remains open for official positioning.
Sexual harassment at Procon
The Civil Police are investigating a possible case of sexual harassment committed by a high-ranking member of Procon in Santa Catarina.
The case was registered this Wednesday (27) and handed over to the Dpcami (Department for the Protection of Children, Adolescents, Women and the Elderly) in Florianópolis, which opened an investigation to investigate the case.
In addition to the sexual harassment complaint, Coluna Bom Dia had access to at least 15 reports delivered to the ombudsman’s office that accuse the same individual of conduct such as abuse of authority, moral harassment, as well as different episodes of disrespect.
The documents were registered with the Secretariat of Industry, Commerce and Services, of which Procon is part.
In contact with the department, it was not possible to confirm whether the accused is undergoing any inquiry or administrative procedure.
