More than 200 high school teachers from the state public network participated this week in a continuing education cycle with the theme Training Itineraries. The meetings took place between the 25th and 27th at the Jovem Boa União school and brought together educators from 36 schools in Rio Branco.

Itineraries are the diverse part of the high school curriculum. These are components that work on the construction of knowledge in a different way, acting in the student’s leading role.

The person responsible for monitoring part-time schools in Acre, Gigliana Nascimento, explains that during the activity active methodologies were presented, that is, teaching strategies that aim to encourage students to learn autonomously, through solving problems and situations real. “We have new teachers in the network who still need to know these methodologies and at this moment we present what they can put into practice in the classroom”, she points out.

For mathematics teacher Aldemir Duarte, who works at the Pedro Martinello school with the elective component and monitors around 200 students, this type of training is important for the development of his work, as it gives direction to his pedagogical practice. “As a teacher, we have several instruments to apply the content and direct students to better learning, so training guides this”, he ponders.
