Two 16-year-old twin brothers were found shot to death in Zona da Mata Norte of Pernambuco.
The bodies of Cauê and Caio Gomes do Nascimento were thrown into a river, on the beach of the Goitá dam, in Paudalho.
According to police, there were marks from firearm projectiles.
The crime took place on Wednesday (27) and was confirmed by the Civil Police, this Thursday (28), through a note.
The case was registered by the Goiana Sectional Police Station, in the same region of the State.
The police treat the case as a completed homicide.
“The victims, two 16-year-old teenagers and brothers, were found dead, with gunshot wounds,” said the note.
According to the corporation, investigations have begun and will continue until the case is fully clarified.
According to unofficial information, the twin brothers had left home on Monday (25) and disappeared.
The family searched and found the bodies in the location, which is difficult to access.
There is information that the brothers’ bodies were found handcuffed and in the water.
Authorship and motivations for this crime are unknown.
The bodies were taken to the Recife Institute of Legal Medicine (IML), in Santo Amaro, in the central area of the city.
