PM SP contest stages
Candidates will be evaluated through the following steps:
- objective proof;
- essay test;
- physical fitness exams;

Objective and discursive evidence
Objective and discursive tests will be administered on the day June 16, 2024in the afternoon, lasting five hours.
The tests will be administered in several cities in São Paulo and in other cities in the country, as listed previously.
The objective test will consist of 60 multiple choice questionswith five alternatives (A, B, C, D and E) each and only a single correct answer.
Knowledge in the following areas will be required:
- Portuguese Language and Text Interpretation (20 questions);
- Mathematics (15 questions);
- General knowledge (15 questions);
- Basic notions of IT (five questions); It is

The test will be worth from zero to 60 points, with each question worth one point. To be considered approved, the candidate must obtain, at least 30 points.
The essay test, in turn, will consist of a prose writingbased on reading auxiliary texts that will serve as a reference to expand the arguments produced by the candidate.
The text must be written in a maximum of 30 lines.
The PM SP essay exam will be worth from zero to 40 points. To be considered approved, the candidate must obtain grade equal to or greater than 20 points.
Exercises required in physical fitness exams
The physical fitness exams will be carried out by the School of Physical Education of the Military Police of the State of São Paulo.
In addition to measuring the height required by the notice, the exams will consist of the following exercises:
- elbow flexion and extension test, using the dynamic barbell test for men and isometrics on the fixed bar for women;
- abdominal resistance, in the supine position (rowing type);
- 50 meter run; It is
- 12 minute run.
Each test will be worth between 20 and 100 points. To be considered approved, the candidate must obtain at least the mark corresponding to 20 points in each of the tests and 201 points in the overall sum.
As highlighted in the notice, the PM SP competition will be valid for three months, counting from its approval date. At the discretion of the Administration, the selection may be renewed for the same period.
