Registration open for distance learning courses aimed at professionals linked to Tourist Centers in MA; see how to participate | Education

The State Secretariat for Tourism of Maranhão (Setur-MA), through the Superintendence of Professional Qualification, announced the opening of registrations for Cycle VII courses, of the “More Qualification and Tourism” program, aiming to train professionals linked to Tourist Centers from Maranhão. Registration is open until April 9th. See the notice.

The courses were made possible through a technical cooperation agreement between Setur and the State University of Maranhão (UEMA), in partnership with the Education Technologies Center (UEMANET). They aim to serve professionals in the tourism sector in Maranhão, including hotel workers, travel agencies, tour guides, artisans and managers.

Candidates must access the Setur website to download the notice, which contains essential information for registration. Then, they must choose the desired course and fill in all the mandatory fields on the registration form. Each candidate can only enroll in one course in the “More Qualification and Tourism” Program.

The examination board will be announced on April 10th, followed by the preliminary results on April 23rd. The period for filing appeals will be April 25th, with the publication of the definitive result scheduled for April 29th. Classes will start on April 30th and end on May 15th.

Study materials will be accessible through the UEMANET platform, so that students can access video classes, handouts and recommendations for additional material. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to receive guidance via chat. It is essential that candidates follow the publications and notices on the Setur website.
