“Our proposal is to give prominence to women who fight for a fairer society for their sons and daughters and for all people, without leaving aside tenderness, beauty, their desires and desires. The theme of the exhibition aims to dialogue with female representation among their sons and daughters, as well as with a movement to care for those who care, themes that guide the daily lives of mothers of people with disabilities”, details the founder-president of Instituto Inclusive, Carina Alves.

Program aligned with UN SDG 5 (gender equality)

The Empower Gender Equality and Audiovisual Qualification program offers girls and women in vulnerable situations practical classes – in person and in pre-recorded videos – on filming techniques, content production and editing on cell phones. The objective is for them to become able to tell their life stories on video as well as boost their small businesses to generate income.

The program is aligned with the UN’s SDG 5 (gender equality) and is designed by the Rio de Janeiro social organization Instituto Including and sponsored by Kinross, through Federal Culture Incentive Law. Course participants are selected by the Municipal Secretariat of Citizenship and Housing, at the Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS). In 2023, the initiative was implemented in Goiás, in the cities Caçu and Cachoeira Alta, and in Minas Gerais, in Paracatu.
