The BMW factory in Santa Catarina Araquaria city about an hour away Joinville, welcomes visitors interested in cars and technology. Called “Inside BMW Group Brasil”, the tour is organized by Serra Verde Express and allows you to get to know the bodywork, assembly and quality sectors – spaces normally restricted to employees, technicians and engineers in the automotive industry. At the end, the visit includes the experience of a practical test, with a pilot from BMW in the direction and you as the rider.
Visits are available from Monday to Friday (except holidays) at two different times, at 9am and 1pm. The program offers three hours of immersion in the production area of the factory. BMW Group in Araquariwhere participants can closely follow the production of models BMW Series 3, X3 and X4.
The tour costs R$190 and can be booked via Serra Verde Express website. The price does not include transport to Araquari: you need to go to the factory on your own, which is located at number 40 on Rodovia Municipal Ipiranga. Children aged 10 and over can participate in the visit.
