In an operation launched this Tuesday, 26th, aimed at investigating criminal activities in Sergipe, the Public Ministry of Sergipe (MPSE) executed four search and seizure warrants – three of them served in the State of Sergipe and one warrant served in the State of Alagoas.
The operation in Sergipe is a result of information obtained and shared by Gaeco from the Public Ministry of São Paulo (MP/SP) regarding the activities of criminal cells that operated in several federative units.
Also according to the MP, the action had the assistance of the Special Action Group to Combat Organized Crime (Gaeco), the Institutional Security Office (GSI), the Public Ministry of Alagoas (MP/AL), the Civil Police of Sergipe (PC/SE) and the Military Police (PMSE).
Support
Support was provided by the Sergipe Civil Police by teams from the Narcotics Investigation Department (Denarc) and the Simão Dias/SE Police Station; by the Military Police, members of the Interior Tactical Actions Police Battalion (BPATI) and the 5th Battalion Tactical Force. Furthermore, 02 (two) representatives of the Brazilian Bar Association – Sergipe Section (OAB/SE) also monitor the operation.
