Mother’s Month at HBDF: special moments of care and well-being for employees

The celebration to commemorate Mother’s Month at the Hospital de Base do Distrito Federal (HBDF) mobilized employees in various activities from 9 am this Monday (6). May is more than just any month for the Federal District Institute of Strategic Health Management (IgesDF). It is the time to celebrate and recognize the effort and dedication of the mothers who are part of the HBDF team, the Santa Maria Regional Hospital (HRSM), the emergency care units (UPAs) and PO700 – IgesDF administrative unit. The Quality of Life at Work Center (Nuvid) together with Projeto Acolher prepared a series of special activities for these women.

Between conversation sessions and workshops led by Acolher Project professionals, the intention was to provide moments of relaxation and well-being. On specific days in May, mothers will have the opportunity to enjoy special care. This includes self-makeup courses and relaxing moments, such as foot reflexology, cupping therapy, auriculotherapy and hand SPA.

The head of Nuvid and coordinator of Acolher, Amanda Nataliane, highlights the importance of recognizing the work of the mothers who are part of the institution. “The commitment of these mothers goes beyond their own families. They leave their children at home to take care of the patients’ children, and this deserves all our appreciation”, she highlights.

Amanda also explains that actions like this are not just isolated moments of celebration, but rather investments in the well-being and motivation of employees. “Every year we prepare something special and, this time, moms will learn not only how to take care of their skin, but also how to apply makeup and take advantage of the services available to everyone,” she emphasizes.

– Tuesday (7): PO 700, Training Room 2, from 1pm to 5pm
– Wednesday (8): HBDF, at Espaço Acolher, from 9am to 5pm; and HRSM, at Espaço Acolher, in the annex, from 9am to 5pm
– Thursday (9): HBDF, at Espaço Acolher, from 1pm to 5pm
– Friday (10): Central Administration Unit, on the 3rd floor, from 9am to 5pm.
