Those who practice physical activities tend to have their favorite exercises. There are others who are detested. It turns out that they are among those that bring the most benefits — and not just for the body. As a study carried out by Stanford University in the United States, and published in Journal of Positive Psychology, leaving the comfort zone causes well-being. The survey assessed the degree of satisfaction of two groups of volunteers. One of them maintained routine physical activities, while the other was encouraged to take on new practices. After two weeks, it was observed that the degree of satisfaction was greater among people who were able to carry out more challenging activities.
