At 21 years old, Davi went from app driver to millionaire on the reality show. The brother took first place on the podium on April 16 and won the jackpot of R$2.92 million, in addition to other prizes throughout the program.

The Bahian used social media to reveal that he will volunteer in Rio Grande do Sul. The state is experiencing an environmental disaster resulting from intense rains, which caused 95 deaths according to Civil Defense.

“I’m moving here from Salvador tonight to go to Rio Grande do Sul, to give all this strength, this support to these people”, he declared.

Davi then released his PIX key and asked his 9.7 million Instagram followers for donations. The attitude, however, aroused criticism from internet users.

“This time you have surpassed your level of stupidity, did no one warn you that personal PIX cannot be used for humanitarian donations? Such a deal is unbelievable”, criticized a profile on platform X.

Another user commented: “Put the PIX of people or organizations that are from there, do something right for love!!!”.

On the morning of this Wednesday (8), the brother announced that he was already in Santa Catarina and that he would seek to bring drinking water to the cities in Rio Grande do Sul affected by the floods.

Also this Wednesday, the documentary “Davi — A common guy from Bahia” premieres, which tells the life story of the BBB 24 champion. The production will be released on a streaming platform.
