PG Health Foundation confirms two more deaths from dengue

A Municipal Health Foundation (FMS) of Ponta Grossa reported this Friday (26) more two deaths caused by dengue fever in patients living in the city.

One of the victims was a patient at the womenin the age group of 60 to 69 years old; the other, a manin the age group of 50 to 59 years old. Both passed away during the month of April this year.

In total, four deaths from dengue have already been recorded in Ponta grossa this year: three women and one man. Last Wednesday (24), the FMS had already confirmed the second death caused by the disease in the city. The victim was a woman aged between 18 and 29, who also died in April – check out the details by clicking here.

COMPLAINT – FMS informs that it is expanding channels to four via Whatsapp for reports on possible dengue mosquito outbreaks. The channel that was previously available has been deactivated due to technical issues. The numbers that start to meet demands are:

The channels are now available to receive complaints about places with accumulation of tires, plastic packaging, pet bottles and garbage deposits. Reports about places with construction debris and land with weeds are not hotbeds for the dengue mosquito.
