After worrying fans, Maiara talks about weight loss: ‘My health is impeccable’

The singer Maiarafrom the duo with Maraísa, spoke on Tuesday, 26, about his health status. The 36-year-old artist shocked the public in recent days by appearing much thinner than usual.

Alongside her nurse, Ecy Chagas, she revealed that she lost 23 kg and stated that she is healthy. “I want to tell everyone there, guys, that my health is impeccable. Show the people that you take care of me, Ecy. You’re the best nurse in Brazil.” The nurse then agrees. “The exams are great. Excellent.”

Then, Maiara said that she never managed to lose weight, in fact, due to genetic issues.

“She knows the struggle I have with losing weight, so much so that it’s difficult for me because I come from very difficult genetics. But I’m very happy with my goals. It’s a process that we’ve been through for over a year. No It’s easy. I was born to have a higher body fat index. For those who don’t know, at home I have cousins, uncles, we deal a lot with this issue of obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes. Now I’m at my best physique. I’m I’m 36 years old. I’m great, super happy. For the first time, I managed to organize myself and managed to reduce my fat. It’s still high, but it’s within normal limits”, he added.

To journalist Leo Dias, also on Tuesday, the 26th, the country singer told that she underwent a so-called “war surgery” recently, but that before that she had already undergone bariatric surgery and liposuction. According to her, the first two procedures did not have the desired effect and everything was carried out under the supervision of specialized doctors.

Still during the conversation, Maiara said that she has always been overweight, since she was a child, and that it is considered a true miracle to be at the weight she is today, according to her, 45 kg.
