The MET Gala 2024 takes over the Metropolitan Museum of Art, in New York, this Monday (6), and celebrities are already arriving at the charity event. This year, Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, Chris Hemsworth and Bad Bunny are co-hosts alongside the almighty Anna Wintour, who is in charge of the event, which raises funds for the Costume Institute.
The theme of the party is Sleeping Beauties: The Awakening of Fashion, the same as the exhibition that will open at the museum today. He refers to the pieces in the collection that cannot – or almost never – be exposed due to their fragility. The “red” carpet has shades of green. Rachel Smith and Reece Feldman are among the first to set foot in the place – he with a leather bag in the shape of a dashound – the popular sausage dog, from the brand Thom Browne, worth R$25,000. She’s wearing a dress printed with flowers and leaves.
