Journalist and presenter Christina Rocha is no longer part of the SBT cast. Silvio Santos’ broadcaster announced this Thursday (02) that the former presenter of “Tá na Hora” decided to leave the company. The end of the contract, according to the statement, was carried out “by mutual agreement”. On the channel, she also presented “Aqui Agora” and “Casos de Família”.
“The communications department informs that SBT and presenter Christina Rocha decided, by mutual agreement, to terminate the artistic contract between the parties”, says the note. “Christina is and will always be an important part of the history of the broadcaster, as well as Brazilian television, having contributed in a unique and valuable way to all the projects for which she was appointed”, the text continues.

“SBT expresses deep gratitude for all her work and commitment over the years, leaving the doors open for Christina”, ends the statement from the SBT team.
Christina Rocha began her career in the artistic world as a model. Her beauty and charisma caught the attention of Wilton Franco, who invited her to participate in films with Os Trapalhões. Christina then arrived on television on the program Aqui e Agora, on the now extinct TV Tupi, and in 1980, she became O Povo na TV, on TVS Rio.
At SBT, from 1981 onwards, Christina commanded several attractions in different programming genres such as games, variety, line of shows, sport and journalism. Among some of the programs she led, Show da Tarde, A Mulher nas Olímpicos, Musicamp, Sessão Pastempo com O Ação Certo, Aqui Agora, Alô Christina, Fantasia, as well as appearances as a reporter, stand out.
In 2009, Christina’s mission was to reformulate and lead the new phase of Casos de Família, establishing her brand and making the program a great success on SBT’s afternoon schedule, remaining for almost 15 years. In 2024, Christina commanded Tá na Hora.
