Influencer Maddy Baloy, who shared her battle with terminal cancer, has died aged 26. She became known for her videos showing the reality of treatment and healthcare.
Baloy’s fiancé, Louis Risher, confirmed the news of her death and said she died “surrounded by love.” “Madison died peacefully last night,” Risher told People magazine.
Baloy began to feel symptoms of the disease in 2022, when he had stomach problems. She changed her diet and lifestyle, but the pain continued. After vomiting blood and needing emergency surgery, doctors discovered several tumors. After the discovery, Maddy started posting videos on TikTok and stated that she would “get every ounce of life she can out of this.”
“There’s nothing we can do. So I better have some fun,” said she, whose account on the platform has more than 447,000 followers and 7 million likes.
