Bridgerton, the Netflix series based on the best-selling literary saga by Julia Quinn, and produced by Shonda Rhimes, continues delving into the sensual, luxurious and competitive world of London high society at the beginning of the 19th century, in this 3rd season, which arrives soon on streaming catalogue. And even before the release of the third installment of the story, we already have some clues about the future of these beloved characters, in a 4th season.

This is what Bridgerton showrunner Jess Brownell revealed. With the next batch of episodes focusing on the romance between Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) – the third main couple to feature prominently in the series – the season 3 finale will also give a hint as to which couple the Season 4 will be focused. I think there are some clues at the end of Season 3 about where we’re going. So yeah, I leave that up to the fans to decide, but I think we’re leaning our hand just a little bit.
