Akon, 21 Savage, NX Zero and Deadmau5 are the new attractions confirmed for Rock in Rio 2024. The announcement took place this Tuesday (26), in Jornal Nacional.
This year’s edition takes place on September 13th, 14th, 15th, 19th, 20th, 21st and 22ndin Cidade do Rock, in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro (RJ).
Famous for hits such as “Smack That”, “I Wanna Love You” and “Lonely”, singer Akon will perform on the 22nd, on the Mundo stage. On that day, the festival will also feature shows by Mariah Carey, NE-YO and Shawn Mendes.
Rapper 21 Savage will sing on the 13th, on the Mundo stage. The same day as the masked DJ Deadmau5, who will perform on the New Dance Order stage, and the already announced Travis Scott and Matuê.
On the 14th, the band NX Zero, one of the most famous in Brazil in the 2000s, will play on the Sunset stage.
As previously announced, the festival will also feature shows from names like Katy Perry, Cyndi Lauper, Tyla, Joss Stone, Gloria Gaynor, Ed Sheeran and Imagine Dragons.
