Arapiraca launches Municipal Security Plan

Arapiraca City Hall, through the Social Defense Secretariat, launched this Wednesday (8), at the Municipal Administrative Center, the launch ceremony of the Municipal Public Security Plan.

In partnership with the Municipal Guard, 3rd Military Battalion, Civil Police and the business class, the plan provides a diagnosis of security in Arapiraca and the actions to be developed with the purpose of strengthening ties and improving local security.

On the occasion, Mayor Luciano Barbosa and the Secretary of Social Defense, Colonel Ênio Bolívar also presented the Ronda Arapiraca (Rondar) program and signed the Vehicle Acquisition Term for actions in the communities.

Development in four regions

The Municipal Public Security Plan was developed based on four geographic regions of Arapiraca, classified by the degree of security and prevention.

Also according to Secretary Ênio Bolívar, four vehicles and motorized agents will travel to schools, daycare centers, squares, health units, among other public spaces, with the support of the 3rd Military Battalion, in a collaborative and integrative way also with the productive sector local and the Municipal Security Council.

Mayor Luciano Barbosa congratulated the Public Order Secretariat team and partner entities on the launch of the plan.

“It is a set of actions and a new service already carried out by our municipal guards, but which will now be deployed with the support of the military police, the business class in commercial establishments, squares, schools, daycare centers and other public spaces, strengthening and reinforcing safety conditions for the entire society”, highlighted the mayor.

Also participating in the ceremony were the new commander of the 3rd Military Battalion of Arapiraca, Colonel Nilton Rocha; secretaries, municipal secretaries, councilors Márcio do Canaã, Alisson from TIM, Léo Saturnino, Melquisedeque Oliveira and Wellington Magalhães, in addition to the president of the Chamber of Store Managers (CDL/Arapiraca), Antônio Bento; president of the Arapiraca Retail Trade Union (Sindilojas), Wilton Malta; businessman Marcos Vasconcelos, from Triunfo Pedras, and the representative of the Banco do Brasil Superintendence, Tavares Cavalcante.
