The Arapongas Municipal Guard (GMA), through the School Patrol, has promoted a schedule of activities in reference to “Mayo Laranja” – an awareness campaign against child sexual abuse and exploitation. Last Friday, 03, an action was carried out at Escola Municipal Rural São Carlos, in the Estrada São Luís region. On the occasion, GM Denice Amorim, GM Wesley, and also delegate Dr. Camila Costa, from the Police Station, participated in the action. of the Woman of Arapongas. “The aim is to prevent and curb child sexual abuse and exploitation by providing information through “Semáforo do Toque”, said GM, Denice Amorim. “Touch Traffic Light” is a simple activity, always carried out with the supervision of trusted adults, in which the child will receive an illustrative image and learn in a didactic way to paint with the colors green, yellow and red the places on the body where they are located. other people may or may not touch it.
The delegate, Camila Costa, spoke of the importance of the activity, in addition to emphasizing the need to involve everyone in this cause. “With the illustrative colors of the traffic light, the little ones were guided to what extent a stranger can interact. With these actions, students help prevent future sexual abuse crimes. It is an important movement that must involve our children and adolescents”, she highlighted.
